Here is a cheap home made (in Quebec) rotation system for a solar dish (1 meter diameter ) . It uses an electrical car for kids (12 volts motor) mounted on a rail (almost no frictions). Momentum = Force*Distance so it does not need a big motor. Thanks for watching !

    it is built with Homedepot component. ex:

    the rail is a long straight piece of metal bent into a circle more details on my website
