i don't understand.. scimitar horned oryx are extinct in the wild, so every organism counts toward the reproductive effort. :( it's really sad, actually.

@kdubbanese Hey man, thank you for your comment and you're right, Oryx are in trouble, but not in Texas! Texas has many reproducing herds here in the state! On this ranch, an Oryx has not been harvested for many years and the owner(a non-hunter)made a management decision to reduce their numbers just a bit! The population of Oryx in Texas is strong and their reproduction is a success! Texas is cooperating in making sure that this animal will be around forever! Thank you for your comment!
