When you are sent to a psychiatric hospital you lose your freedom and autonomy. And yes, it does no good to protest. But the way to survive is to surrender. You reconcile yourself to not being in control. You trust the staff and you let them take care of you. You give them the benefit of the doubt that they're not monsters. So you take your meds and you apply yourself to your treatment and you do what you're told. AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENS? You start to feel better and they become your friends.

psych wards are nothing like this. i was in one for a month and they didnt abuse me liek this. we had freedom but everythig harmful as locked away. Only extreme cases were put in a closed ward like i was in there for a couple of days at first but even then we werent in a bed or anything. i think this is fake.

I was in for my depression and eating disorder.
Everytime I needed to go to the bathroom, two nurses would watch me...
I had a tube down my nose...
I had security chase me...
I had nurses who didnt like me lie, which ended up me being moved to an adult ward, when I'm 15...

I was put in a psyche ward because I came to school on an empty stomach and had that night seen someone in my future college dorm room snorting cocaine. I was so scared. They thought I was manic... I was tied up there, drugged, put on a single drug heavily dosed, and well, they did leave me there for hours, and I slept. I took them off the first time. Bless you, please continue spreading the knowledge and the truth. #Occupy planet earth. Change it. Be the change you wish to see. We are change.
