Didn't want to leave everyone "high and dry" today, so here's a little introduction to some of the serious routing objects you have within Max, you can route any type of messages with them, including audio. If you followed the simple synth or LFO tutorials, you saw these used.

  • @StrafingMoose It's a lot different from traditional text based languages, that's for sure. I think programmers from the traditional side going to max have an easier time than the other way around. It does have certain challenging things that I usually think would be a lot easier in text based stuff, but for really quick building of stuff it's awesome. As to whether you need it, well, that's a personal question, but if you want to do custom stuff, it's just plain amazing.

  • I'm pretty fluent in many programming/scripting languages so how hard do you think learning Maxx would be for me ? What are the upsides of learning Maxx when Live seems pretty complete of a DAW in itself ? Thanks again for your contributions! :)
