While SLOMming isn't "really" going on, some people do get sucked into the influence of peer pressure. Of course, most people make good decisions most of the time and are able to step back and avoid sticky situations. Others rely on the crowd to direct them. They do things they'd rather not, and even convince themselves that it's all good.

this is the funnything. let me just start by saying dont stick leaches on yourself. today in holistic medicine, people actually do stick leaches on themself in order to get toxins out of there blood. the only side effect from this procedure is (obviously) anemia (lack of blood) but no people arent actually doing this. but when this comercial aired i thought it was and did not even consider it being the same as smoking pot. i was also 12 at the time and hadn't smoked pot yet.
