The date was Feb. 10, 1979 at the Dick Weber Lanes, Florissant, Mo. Mark Roth, who qualified 2nd, was coming off his 247-166 victory over Dan Roche, to meet the #1 qualifier, Marshall Holman. Roth, reining player of the year, soundly defeated Holman, 279-227 to capture the $15,000 top prize, and his 17th career title. Also, I believe Holman was using a Brunswick LT-48, and Roth a Columbia Yellow Dot. I hope you enjoy.
