Nice pique shot from the master and 6 times world champion Steve Davis.
As you watch carefull you would see the difficulty of this shot.
The shot isn't even straight and for Steve,as a right-handed player,on the wrong side of the table
I don't know when this shot was played,but probably early in the 90's
His opponent is (i think) Sylvino Francisco,who must have tought that he had left it safe.

I'm pretty sure this is the 1986 British Open, and I think his opponent is John Campbell (of Australia). Davis never played Silvino Francisco in the British Open. (that I know of)

Technically this is a pique shot not a masse

Pique is a screwback shot from up high like steve plays

A masse is a extreme swerve shot from up high - ie it would go around another ball
