at my middle school freshman party at my house we played this and thier was a coffie tabe right behide the mats and the matts were on the tile floor and when i sliped and fell i hit my head on the coffie tabe and i had to go to the hospital and my bff who was with me told the nurse that i got hurt by playing ddr and the nurse said what the fuck i that and me and all my friends with me just started look from her to the rest of us

wasn't a normal pad.
it was an ignition, with a thick foam pad in the middle of it.
much easier to play on than metal.
thats why my gf and i share.
we have 2 metal pads and 1 ignition.
