Cuisinart had to step it up on their blenders. They have to compete with the better brands like Vitamix, Omega blenders, Blendtech, even Waring Xtreme blender. This Power Edge 700 looks like a nice one to have. I love the motor --capable of blending on its own.
But for the very serious people who blend daily & stuff all kinds of veggies & fruits in the blender, perhaps this might not be the one for them. It doesn't seem like it would last long.
