Walter Dix Sets World Record in 100 Meter Dash for this Year

At 4 PM - April 11, 2009 - Walter Dix ran the 100 meter dash in 10.04 seconds into a 1.25 mile an hour wind. It was announced that he broke the world record for this year. The record was set at Mike Long Field at FSU in Tallahassee at the Seminole Invitationals. Dix will be running professional this summer. He graduated from FSU last year and went on to win two bronze medals at the Olympics in China. That is my lovely wife Lulu getting her head in the way while looking down the track.

I used a Canon G9 - pocket camera - to take the HD video of Walter Dix. The track is about a mile from my house.

I bought it on craigslist for $150 used a little over a year ago. Still use it - will not part with it.
