A Christmas Carol / The Cable Guy - Somebody has to kill the babysitter

While I was watching this part in 'A Christmas Carol', I was thinking that this scene was almost similar with the last part in 'The Cable Guy' where he said "somebody has to kill the babysitter". The idea just hit me in the face.

By the way, they're both voiced by the same actor, Jim Carrey.
