@sgtpetersen. If Al Gore actually did buy water front property, then he has many reasons. One reason could be to witness the waters rising, slowly. He/We will probably be dead by the time the 20 ft or more rise in the water level occurs.

From what I understand, the proposed? TransAfghanistan Pipeline is being stalled by the Taliban. Would the gas transported through this pipeline end up creating more global warming?

@nairb10k See, though, you give a poor example. Replacing global warming with you having cancer is not an equal replacement. You having cancer is a wild speculation with no evidence behind it. The possibility that global warming could be a gigantic problem (or that it even exists in the first place) has been studied - and verified - by scientists more than it has been refuted by scientists.

@coolgreyoneabby haha...every little bit helps. but u know, i heard a quote the other day, it referred to our problem solving skills in the past with serious global issues, its something like, "often the solutions that we come up with end up being more harmful than the original problem"..i think it may have been in reference to nuclear power, i'm not sure ...Now, nicotine patches, would they be biodegradable, or r they going to sit in landfills for centuries???? haha, just kiddin
