I began this walk along side the River Calder, then theres some of Sandal Castle and the history, and an overview of the history of West Yorkshire during the industrial revolution. Don't let anyone every say I dont give you value for money!

  • ive just seen your video by eck it takes me back i lived on portobello estate sandal castle in the 1950 / 1960s was our play ground we used to climb the ruins sit in the queens window as we called it we took our jam sandwiches and our bottle of water the pugneys was then a sand quarry that was our swimming baths we would go first thing in the morning and come home when it started getting dark..........we were frightened of the ghosts lol
