A little insight into an ancient capital of Japan from almost a thousand years ago.
Shot in early spring with plum blossom at its peak.
Temples including Jomyoji ranked fifth among the five great Zen temples of Kamakura with its Tea room Kisen-an and a rock garden,
Hookokuji with a biggest species of bamboo called Moosoo bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) creating an bamboo garden,
Sugimoto-dera the oldest temple in Kamakura founded in Nara period...

  • Awesome video! Im moving to Japan in 6 months and we are going to be stationed in Yokosuka, I think thats only a 45 minute train ride to Kamakura. This place it so beautiful! I must go here!!! Can you take the train in and get to these places or do you need a car?
