One of the great pioneers of the sport of competitive fitness, Germany's Patrick Heisel. This clip is from the 1990s, long before the sport of fitness conquered the world. Germany was one of the first places to recognise the lean, athletic look of fitness, as distinct from bodybuilding, where size is paramount. Now, there are competitions like this all over the world, but back then, all this was new - and Patrick was one of the first champions to help the sport take off. The good news is Patrick is still going strong, and looking great after 20 years in the business.
