Thought I would update you, dear Nancy - 1984 (10 years before youhoohoo!), with Another Country, then A Month in the Country, and the final nail in the coffin as it were, was Tumbledown, which made such a huge impact on me at a terrible historical period under Thatcher. Yes, I am older than you! haha
