We should begin the reform by passing a law that no one who advises the President or anyone in the administration on terrorism matters should be allowed to profit financially by owning shares in, or accepting fees from, military contractors.

And that no one who accepts such fees or who profits will be allowed to advise the President or the Department of Defense.

That would have saved us from Dick Cheney and his neocon friends right there.

Surfer22z, We already had an agreement negotiated with Iraq to pull out some troops. Bush negotiated that. We won't have a land-based missile defense shield in Europe, but we will have a ship-based missile defense system.

Overall, our foreign policy remains interventionist. The war in Afghanistan is being escalated. President Obama, so far, hasn't mentioned plans to pull our 55,000 troops out of Germany.

they should have warned us about Colin Powell's lies about Iraq. The military industrial complex is alive and well under Obama.
