Each interview we'll focus on some aspect of Aikido training for those who want to deepen their Aikido practice. Ginny teaches and trains in Aikido at Bay Marin Aikido and at the Cotati Rec Center.

With all due respect, why does her randori seem to be in slow motion???

She knows her moves but it just seems too pre-fab'ed IMHO.

Compare her to Steven Segal and you'll see what I mean.

I don't know this girl or women.but it seems to me more a battle of woman against man. I train alot with woman who are very good, with a good center and much ki. It is a pleasure to train with these girls because there is respect and communication, the true reason of the creation of aikido from O-Sensei. If this is a battle there is no takemusu and no aikido, just a few movements. I hope there isn't a battel between them.

@sayno2wmma Street fight? untrained people versus trained people. The untrained WILL be tossed around like a rag doll. Aikido is a Japanese martial art that uses the attackers force against them and flips them or restrains them from it before finishing defending yourself (Winning the fight.) A street fighter usually always thinks "Protect my face" and "Beat them down" Aikido thinks "If you charge me you'll regret it." Aikido would win

@Turk1yemm jump and down? lol where is their jump? She uses their strength and momentum to force them to shift their weight on their front leg then flip them. can you jump a foot and a half high bent over and on one leg? No? Ok then
