This is probably the last of the traditional Shoot-the-Chutes rides left in existence, and it may be lost in 2007 to developers. Here is some footage taken in 2006.

hi i live in wales near a fair ground called Porthcawl, very simular ride to this but sadly got shut down due to a rusty ring snapping and killing a child.

There's a ride at Drayton Manor Park that's a MILLION times better then this crap. Storm Force 10 it's very similar too

I agree that Storm Force 10 is a great ride, however you are missing the point...this is possibly the last example of a ride of this type in the World. I posted it for historical significance rather than its thrill factor. This ride was 48 years old when I filmed it...I very much doubt Storm Force 10 will ever see half that age, no matter how thrilling it is. Respect.

Dodgy as fook ride. It always felt like the car was going to come off the tracks as it was going around the top part! lol
