Another teaser video for our research project on fast 3D mesh extraction from volume data. The frame rate shown is for extracting a triangle mesh from volume data, using an NVidia G8800 GPU and our marching cubes algorithm (which _does not_ use the geometry shader).

We are currently working on octree data structure generation/extraction that will be able to hold arbitrary sized scenes of varying details, so yes, there is some future potential ;)
