Oblivion - Mages Guild - Cheydinhal Recommendation

Speak with Falcar at the Cheydinhal Mages guild.

He will give you a quest to get the ring of burden from the well right behind the mages guild.

After this, speak with Deetsan to get the key to the well. Speak with her when Falcar is in another room and she will give you a tip.

Go into the well and retrieve the ring of burden. You may need to drop some of your gear to pick it up as it's quite heavy.

Go back and speak with Deetsan. She will tell you that he has left the guild, and she is taking over. After that, she will ask you to search his quarters for anything unusual. Go to the basement and search in his dresser. You will find 2 lack soul stones or whatever, take those back to Deetsan.

She well be upset, but will send a recommendation to the mages guild for you.

@jezzejam there are I believe 8 in total. they aren't very hard quests. Just get them over with :P

I'm sure this has been said but I started this quest went in the well found out I didnt have enough skill for bouyancy waited a while and vidkun's body was gone. Anyone know how to fix that?

@SuperLegogamer11, It use to hold/ putting human soul inside it in this game. I think, one of those black soul gem has Vidkun soul in it.

that's not the only way to cure it. Look on the oblivion wiki, there is a quest from some wizard guy in one of the cities that will cure it for you as well.

Lol how did you manage to become a vampire right away? If you get attacked by a vampire you have a chance of contracting the disease which a message pops up on screen telling you you got it.

You can cure it with a regular cure disease potion within 3 days before going to sleep. I'd suggest loading a sace and doing that. Here's a tip to follow while playing games. SAVE OFTEN. I save my game in any ge like every 2 minutes lol

look it up on the oblivion wiki, it tells you everything about the mages guild. every guild for that matter. anything you could ever want to know about anything to do with Oblivion is on that wiki page. google "oblivion wiki" it is the first result
