I finally saw this film for the first time and as someone doesn't really like sport of any kind I have to say I absolutely loved this, during the end fight I actually had to resist getting on my feet and shouting at the television screen. When Rocky was calling Adrian's name amidst all the chaos I actually welled up, it was a beautiful ending to a film that is now one of my favourites.

@mindstormsabrewin Sorry about insulting you. You seem like a good guy. I forgot why I even left that first msg to be honest. Either way, despite having different opinions about the street, I think the both of us can safely agree that rocky kicks ass. Take care my friend.

@YougoogleY17 Yes I know of the towns destroyed by plant closures. Brooklyn was a crime ridden shithole, with large sections of former manufacturing districts that were abandoned. I played in those ruins as a kid. It was home. We come from similar backgrounds. So in what way am I "talking out of my ass"? I seem to have the highest rated comment up here and a lot of people agree with what I said. Again, please tell me what you disagree with. And try it without the insults please.

@mindstormsabrewin Living in the "Rust belt" was not glorious 25 years ago. You lived in Brooklyn, so you don't know Pittsburgh has entire towns (like the one I grew up in) built around steel mills that were shut down. Crime was high, jobs were scarce, and it was shitty. We made the best of it, I have some great memories. But you sir, are talking out of your ass.

ROCKY LOOKS LIKE PAUL MCCARTNEY!
And EMINEM.

Sylvester Stallone wrote this movie in a week, which is INCREDIBLE!

@hkhk96 Rocky 6 was great.

@hkhk96 have you watched rocky 6? and rocky 4 in my opinion is not great at all
Just watched this movie the other night. why can't filmmakers get back to this vibe? It's such a good character and story. I grew up in Brooklyn and it looked just like Philly. Believe it or not, I am nostalgic for the rundown glory of those days. Today everything is overpriced and fake. And our cities are turning into hipster shopping malls. It's so great to see the REAL people on the street in this film. REAL neighborhoods where people know each other. Great things come from the street.
