I needed to travel from Grenoble to Geneva and on reading the timetable I noticed that I could do so on a Spanish Talgo train. This short film is the result.

  • What a clever idea! Could this be used for London tube trains to make more space?

  • @muscleco In Copenhagen the S-Bahn trains are like this, and being short carriages they can also be extra wide to enable 3+3 seating, except in the end carriages where the seats are along the sides and of the tip-up design, so that there is space for wheelchairs & children's pushchairs. Oh and there are bicycle hooks too. See my website for photos...

  • Lucky you are!!! Now TALGO stops at Montpellier, no more Grenoble>Chambéry>Genève, like before... what a shame! I hope that brand new AVE TALGO will come there in a near future, to go back to Murcia or Carthagena, or Sevilla... quietly and quickly, but, si señior, TALGO tren me gusto mucho!

  • Yes this is the OLDEST Talgo. The latest Talgos are much better and can run up to 300km/h

  • Nice video . Thanks for all the information . I am Spainish but I didn't know all that from Talgo . BB
