The Thin Line Between Love and Hate [[chapter 5]]

Next Morning
I woke up to the sun shining through my curtains. I was feeling nauseous so I ran into my bathroom. This is going to suck. Especially when Steve finds out. Im glad its a Saturday, which means that Steve is gone at work all day, and I dont have to see his face. I walked downstairs to see everyone eating pancakes. Yum. I sat down and grabbed a plate.

Collin: Good morning.

Angela: morning!

James: whoa. Are you feeling ok? You seem.happy.

Angela: Ha-ha youre so funny.

He just smiled at me and went back to his food.

Kelsey: Its nice to see you in a good mood.

Have I really been that horrible? Well I can say if Steve is ever around yes I will have a bad attitude, but hes not here, and neither is my mom, so Im with the people I love, so its ok to be happy.

Amy: Angela?

Ok. Except for her. I ignored her. Im still mad at her. Why couldnt she have come down here by herself?

Amy: Angela, please you cant ignore me the rest of your life.

I finished my breakfast and made my way back to my room. After slipping on some running shoes I headed out the door for a jog. On my way to where ever I was headed I felt someone jog next to me. I looked over to see none other than Nick Jonas.

Nick POV
I decided last night since I couldnt get Angela out of my head that I wasnt going to let her get to me.

Angela: Is there a reason youre following me?

Nick: No Im just jogging. Got a problem with it?

Angela: Well when youre next to me yes.

Nick: why do you hate me? I mean I dont even know you. I just want to try and be your friend. Because you look like you need one. I can understand that moving away is hard when you have no friends in the place youre moving to. So I thought why not at least try to be her friend? And then you go and act like you know me and hate me. I dont get it. Ive never done anything to you.

She stopped jogging and I stopped with her.

Angela: Well I didnt need you to come and give me your advice, or your friendship out of pitty.

She turned back around and jogged back to her house. Im not giving up on her though. My head, or my heart wont let me. I just have this feeling I need to be her friend.


Angela POV
Why cant Nick just leave me alone? I dont need his sympathy. I just dont get it. When I got back I went up to my room and got ready for the day. The doorbell rang and I went and answered the door and there once again was Nick Jonas.

Angela: What do you want?

Nick: For you to give me a chance. Just one day with me. Ok? And if you dont want to be my friend after that Ill leave you alone. Ok?

Angela: why should i? I mean do you really want to be my friend or do you just feel sorry for me?

Nick: because I actually want to try. I dont get it either but something keeps telling me not to give up.

I looked at him shocked. Well I guess I could give it a try.

Angela: What are we doing?

He smiled at me.

Nick: I thought Id show you around Texas. Come on lets go.

He led me out to his care and we headed off.
