*& then, everything went black.*

Joe's POV.

I didn't know what happened.

I woke up in my room. I couldn't remember much. All I remember is going unconscious. I cant remember why, or how.

I got up and walked downstairs to find my family and my principal sitting in my living room, talking. I walked in and everyone stared at me. My mom got up and led me over to the couch and sat me down. I could tell we all were gonna talk about what happened.

"Joe? Are you feeling okay?" my mom asked me.

"Yeah.. I guess. I dont know whats going on. What happened?" I asked.

"Joe.. You got into a fight with Robert. You got upset at him for something, and attacked him. Nick here pulled you off of him, but Rob came back at you, and knocked you unconscious." My principal told me.

"Wait.. I got into a FIGHT?" I asked. "With ROB?"

"Yes, honey. You left him pretty bad. Hes got some broken ribs and a couple stratches here and there." My mom said.

I looked at the ground in shock. I can't believe I did that. I went to look at myself in the mirror.

..I looked scary.

I had scratches all over my face. I took off my shirt and found tons of bruises all over. My arm was hurting, and I had broken my nose.

I went back to the living room and sat down. I stared at the ground for awhile, trying to remember..

And then, it hit me.

Rob telling me about Taylor coming on to him, how they wanted each other physically, how all she wanted from me was my body. I remember screaming at him, telling him I would do anything to get Selena. I remember the fight, I remember someone pulling me off..

"I don't regret it." I said suddenly, thinking out loud.

"What?" my dad asked.

"I don't regret anything I did to him. He deserves every piece of it. Every.. little.. piece." I said, suddenly angry. I didnt realize I was shaking.

"Joe.. Joe, sweetie, calm down." My mom said with a shaky voice. She looked scared of me.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Kevin got up and answered it, and Selena walked in.

..When I saw her, I stopped shaking. I stopped being angry. I stopped thinking about rob, what he was going to get from me. I could only focus on her.

"Selena, honey, come in." My mom said.

She came in and stood by the entry way.

"Umm.. can I talk to Joe please?" she asked awkwardly.

My family nodded and I got up and walked her to my room. I shut the door, and went to sit by her on my bed.

"Hey, Sel."

"Joe, you look terrible." She said.

"Thanks."

"Sorry."

I laughed. "So whats up? Why are you here? Not that I dont like you being here.." I said, sounding like an in love idiot.

"Joe. Why? Why did you hit Rob? What caused this? Ive never known you too be like that.. "

I sighed. "Selena, you have no idea what he told me or asked me."

"Well..?" she asked.

"After I got out of the Janitors closet, I went to my locker. He was standing there, said he had to ask me a question. I told him to hurry up, and he asked if you would possibly go back out with him. That fricken pissed me off. I yelled at him, telling him that he broke your heart. He then started talking about Taylor. He said the only reason he went with her was because she led him on. That got me interested. He told me about how she came onto him, and how every day they would hook up. How one time, she said my name during it. She said it because she wanted it to be me who was with her, but she thought I would never even think about doing that with her. He said that he couldnt resist her. He wanted her as much as she wanted him. I swear, I'm gonna kill that kid.." I explained.

She sat there for awhile, quiet.

"Selena, look. Before you came, I was bubbling over with anger. I was even shaking. Then, when you walked in, I automatically became calm. I could only focus on you. Selena, the truth is.. I love you. I cant help it. Always have, honestly. I need you in my life. Without you here, I dont know where I would be." I admitted to her.

She looked up at me with those big, brown, beautiful eyes of hers, stared at me, and.. kissed me.
