Why does so many drummers think they need to switch to traditional grip when they start to play something with the classic jazz ride feel. You're playing clearly drops off when you do. You're playing is fine. You are just clearly not a traditional grip player. I am not ragging on you're playing, just wondering why you think you need to switch.
