  • Thanks for your comments. This loco was acquired by the CFV3V some 25 years ago from the DR in a pityful state. She was completely rebuit by the people of the CFV3V, and some parts were recuperated from other locos (kept for spare parts) This would perhaps explain the differences. Incidentally the Belgian Railways never had any BR 64's. It did however have lots of other German locos, such as the BR50, BR52, the G8 and others....

    interesting: Neither the colouring (looks like DRG "Photoanstrich") nor the steam pipe are original.

    Seems to be the Belgian version of a BR 64.
