This was a student project done on Super 8mm film and edited with adhesive editing tape (pretty much Scotch tape) in 1979 while attending Brooks Photography Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. This was another collaborative effort with Greg Kopacka and shot at our apartment complex, in downtown Santa Barbara and downtown Los Angeles. We used several varieties of animation techniques in this film. This was my "starring role" as the writer (yes, that is a typewriter) who contemplates whether man is really superior to other animals on the planet.
The song, Mammagamma, by Alan Parsons, was added later. It turns out that Alan Parsons actually lives in Santa Barbara today, where this was filmed.
