I am a historian and everything you state here is true.
I commend you on this video series. This was nothing more than a genocide in the name of greed and dressed in the hypocrisy of religion. The various native cultures of Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and Cuba were snuffed out in less than 20 years.
There were people of conscience such as Padre Las Casas and Montesinos that had the moral fortitude of voicing their disgust regardless of consequences.
