Here's an alternative to your regular tortillas containing shortening, lard, or oil. These are made with an UNUSUAL ingredient: MAYONNAISE! Try it! You'll say "Ay! Que bueno, Senor Vecino!" WWW.senorvesino.com

  • And I really appreciate your comments, @01cmedina!

  • Thanks @01cmedina for your comments. Of course, you are exactly right on the true Spanish word for rolling pin. "Bolillo" is a common slang word when applied to rolling pin, from the bread shaped similar to a rolling pin. And you're also correct on the word "torta", which, in English, translates to "torte". "Tortilla" is the word most commonly used in many Latin countries. There's lots of words that people use incorrectly; this is called "colloquial", for "the way we use words around here"!

  • The song in this video is "Food/Comida" copyright Rockin' Amigos! Buy it at Amazon.com or download it for .99 via iTunes like I did.

  • Hello, I like your way of cooking mexican food! Please allow me to correct you in two things. Rolling pin in spanish is RODILLO NOT BOLILLO the second means bread for a torta. :) :) thank you!
