  • @LegsLikeShola Who cares - just listen carefully to them to get the A grade in A'Levels

  • @lolman6737 Are you the multi millionaire car salesman who funds the emmanuel fundamentalist schools in Tyneside and Northumberland? That Peter Vardy is at the heart of the Dawkins controversy about teaching creationism. This Peter Vardy is loved by students and teachers all over UK. Both high achieving, highly intelligent, although very different, influences in public life.

  • You ain't peter vardy, punk that's my name.

  • he was my favourite part of heythrop college when i visited.

  • @qqqqqqqq Yes, I believe he is a member of the Church of England however his lectures seem rather Aristotelian (prime mover and such).

  • Peter Vardy is the darth vader of philosophy, Copleston is the emperor and Bertrand Russell is Obi Wan...FACT!

  • haha..t his guy came to my school today

  • i heard recently from my philosophy teacher that he and julie arliss (another philosopher) were in fact fucking each other..that is until she cheated on him...apparently (sounds like eastenders for philosophers)

  • Yes, he believes god exists. He bases this on this on the idea that reason can only take one so far- and at some point faith must take over.

  • Yeah he's an intelligent guy and his books are very clear and concise, really helps me in my philosophy a level, his book "puzzle of god" is definitely worth a read :) xxxx
