PS...I have often wondered why this tune has never been played at the Edinburgh Tattoo??. Can you imagine the pipes and drums playing this?...For me it would be the highlight. That is if you are into that sort of thing...Just dreaming!! lol

I'm proud to have almost all official material by OMD...and there's no extended version of 'maid of orleans' on any record....sorry, but I don't think that this is a real omd production... if you listen carefully, you can hear that parts of the 7"-version are only mixed or repeated...

As I've said to another poster - "There is actually no official extended version of the track. This version is a fan remix." Hope that clears the confusion.

Great version. I had the 12" when it first come out but lost it when moving house. It's about time we had the extended version on here. Thanks for posting and nice video!
