@joshreynolds1993 ...Joaquin Phoenix did the same thing...but he isn't known for quirky appearances, so it really bombed - I didnt get what that whole thing was about with him and Casey Affleck.

@johnrunion Actually, this appearance was in 1987. The movie didn't come out until 1991. Crispin came up with the character's look, though, 6 years before the movie came out.

Why do americans seem to think its so brilliant to go to college? If they went received further education almost anywhere it seems like something to brag about...plenty of people who work at Macdonalds or drive cabs have degrees and phd's my friend...it doesn't give you immunity from lifes little problmes like Crispin Glover going all 'conceptual' on your ass!
