I've looked some of this info up and....he isn't wrong. Abraham Lincoln's aim was to keep the union together, not to free the slaves. Now, it was done under the notion that they wanted to free the slaves but it isn't true.
I'll tell you though, it isn't easy to find. They have doctored up history really well. Find some of the older history books.
