Hey, Boston. Damn good vocals, man.You can really hit the high notes. If anything, I would recommend you practice a little more restraint, just for the sole reason of not messing your voice up. I have a video of me trying to cover this song as well. Anyways, man, damn good vocals, unique.

Hey peonjohn thanks for the comment. Just so you know the rasp in my voice is a conscious choice. I know what I'm doing but we are all entitled to our own opinions. You version is cool. Enjoy!

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with a raspy voice. I was referring to the amount of air you are pushing pass the vocal chords, but as long as your throat isn't getting sore, then it's all cool. I couldn't sing like that through a whole set without hurting my throat, so congrats on the voice.

Thanks peonjohn, I've been singing for over 15 years now and have gone through all the ups and downs of learning how to do it. I play 4 hour acoustic sets and never burn out on stage. Also play in a rock band which you may know is even more demanding. I haven't blown my voice out since I was in highschool. But everyones voice is different. Good luck man, i've seen your videos, you should post some more I'd like to see more from you.
