What ESPN play instead of CHampions league

We all now know the famous brand ESPN. They are the biggest sports Channel in the world but here in the United States they have been accused by not giving football the proper respect it should, with below average productions, shitty announcers, and bumping mid day champions league game's for "NFL Yearbook"( a show with highlights of Old NFL game) or even the "World Series of Poker"

What I've always wondered is where they find the announcers for stuff like this? Whenever they have these fringe "sports" the announcers actually seem to know what they are talking about (or maybe not, I guess I wouldn't know either way).
