If you say Selena, and people think that you are talking about Selena Gomez, I suggest that you find new friends cause your's suck, either that or educate yours about what true music really is.

Also, who cares of SG was named after the REAL Selena? It doesn't deviate from the fact that when the name is brought up into conversation, people still think of the pop conformist Selena Gomez. So that point is mute, to all you people who keep mentioning it. And no, I don't like SG. Her music is part of songs that all sound the same, and the Selena, even though I have no idea what she's saying in most of her songs, still managed to make a strong connection through her music. R.I.P.

Selena Gomez made it clear on Mun2 tht SHE IS NAMED AFTER Selena and that was in 92 even before she died so obviously selena has had a big influence or fans nd its nice to see her name is still living on to this day...

It tragic that when you say Selena they assume GOMEZ then you tell them "The one who was murdered" and they say "What Selena Gomez was killed?" It is very frustrating to say Selena "the one who died in 95" for people to know whom your addressing.
