  • In my opinion though Avatar is far from a perfect film , it has realy made honest change in the world if you follow the Dongria Kondh story from India you will see that awareness raised by Avatar and direct action by those moved by the films story played a large role in saving these peoples homeland from a mining company , this is but one example of many

  • @Death2theNWO777 In your opinion , ask these people /watch?v=7ojdTLhWsRA ,

  • Most overhyped director ever!

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • Wish Cameron knew about The Venus Project and Jacque Fresco..

  • I honestly think would be an excellent base for a sequel. Fallen hero stories are usually very awesome. And rub away the foolish images of everlasting good and evil.

  • How about the next movie shows what it's like for a tribe to live under a punishing dictator who imprisons you within your country, attacks you at will, sanctions rape and destruction of the environment for his own profit, and controls every aspect of your life so that you live in constant fear of speaking out against anything his regime does? That way we can all feel what it was like to live in Iraq under Saddam Hussein before the U.S. liberation...ah, I mean, invasion.

  • 9/11 was an invasion of our right to live. Who lives and who dies? If those jihadists have a beef with America, take it to the government and the military. Why go after civilians who might even sympathize with their cause?

They know they can't invade us, so what choice do they have to hurt us? They attack us and make us go after them in places where they know the people, language, and geography. Our economy is in the shitter for something they started. Think about it.

  • Do you call 9/11 a invasion? The flu takes more victims then the 9/11! I bet if you spended 30 billion dollars on research for agriculture and healthcare that even amputees get new legs and hands. Its all there but they invest in the army.

  • propaganda movie

  • I love James Camerons straight forward unshamefull honesty in pertaining to his views..and I totally love the movie. The story is inhanced by the beauty of the natives and their planet and the intense emotion truly tugging at your heart strings.

  • an 'Inconvenient Truth' is a lie, imo,...funny that he mentions it!

  • I have watched the movie an in many ways it is a very beautiful and interesting movie.

But I do however think that it has a anti-human message which is scary and sad.

That the movie has this "back to the nature" appeal and at the same time is one of the most expensive movies with the most advanced special effects is just ironic in that context.

  • Right, the iraq war has yielded oh so many benefits for us americans.

I'll agree with you partially in they they are like children who depend on mommy and daddy and say they hate them. but they hate them because mommy steals money from your piggy bank to go buy new dresses and jewelery and daddy is too buisy out gambling and drinking and fighting to come home and take care of his own fucking children. Now you'd think they may have a good reason to be a bit peeved. wealthy leftists? really?

  • I'm sure it's easy to feel "it's a really good movie" when it conforms to your word view. Your right , lot's of beliefs expressed in movies don't mesh easily with my views. Hollywood is largely dominated by wealthy leftists, who can't recognize the wonderful benefits of the society they work to undermine. There like little children who say the hate Mommy and Daddy while being completely dependent on them. It's true, I don't admire that much.

  • it's a really good movie.

    it has a message.

sorry it doesn't agree with your views.

    lots of things probobly dont.

  • You've just described art, not propaganda.

  • fuck this movie

  • I have human guilt now

  • This director is openly admitting that he is playing to the emotions of the viewer. He even says information isn't as good as pulling at the heartstrings of the audience. These are telling signs that this is a propaganda piece.

  • It's the same story line as in Independence Day and Starship Troopers, only this time we are the bad guys and the good guys are designed to appeal to the furry-fetish, animalisitic sex nerd crowd.

  • I'm not buying his "we're not preaching" line, and I'm not buying a ticket either. I hope this propaganda flops.
