Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Ed O'Brien talk to Dave Fanning about being rock stars, juggling family and work, how painful recording In Rainbows was, whether they should still be making music at their age, having low artistic self-esteem, and Portishead's Third!

  • Thom Yorke's kids. One day they will grow up to be fuckin' awesome.

  • @Miguelohara563 I would imagine that they're probably already pretty awesome ;)

  • @susannkorda I actually met them. I wouldn't say awesome, maybe 2 steps below that.

  • @vicprobey You met his kids??? How?

  • it's interesting to see that, even at their level, there is still that artistic self-doubt and struggle...no matter how many millions have been thrilled by every note they've ever played... it just shows that really every artist has to go through nearly the same struggles regardless of their level of success or talent

  • @gosolar in rainbows

  • Which album are they talking about?

  • lol his 3 year old was discussing if he was a rockstar or a popstar? haha good mind on her

  • @mahavishnuxc Real musicians...

  • @mahavishnuxc now they play dubstep huhuhu :(

  • "low artistic self confidence" - Geez, we're all screwed then.

  • Pop - Radiohead is too dark, and experimental to be pop

Rock - Radiohead is too weird and experimental to be rock.

So what the fuck are they?
