There is no left wing in America as far as the political system.
Democrat and Republican are mirror images of each other, and only differ in very minor ancillary issues that are influenced more by religious beliefs.
Even in terms of economy in the end they continue the same policies. They borrow heavily from an already overburdened indebted treasury and keep on spending like there's no tomorrow.
