@deejlj it does very much you dub ass, and we are what the call "the worlds police" we watch everything and help anyone in need when your the strongest country in the world you got to have weapns to try to protect your self from dumb asses like russia; north korea, and any muslim. we have the number one economy in the world our economy is 2 times the size than that of china, russias economy is number 14, so shut th hell up and dont talk until you can back it up ass hole!!!

I just say we find some way to convert energy and control it and be able to make it appear places, set a small charge instantly and then let go to certain amount, it'd be awesome!

lastly, the last plan I heard from the obama admin (gates) is to shelve the project once the shootdown is done. This was finished not too long ago.

@Irek1970 Um... I don't think you get it man... This thing saves people by blowing up missiles that would kill our citizens and troops. Its defensive technology.
