I have lived in Suriname for 22 years and continue to do so currently. This shit film is a sensationalized misrepresentation of my country. Filming a junkie and a couple of loser criminals does not mean that we nor 99% of us live such a life. Congrats to those people who promote crime and drug use instead of motivating our pikin (children) to aspire to become great intellectuals, businessmen and businesswomen, and heroes. Some of you judge us of being prejudice, but why does everybody only see the Junkie? There is a story behind every man. Is he forbidden to stand in front of a camera and speak his mind? These are Real people living Real lives and if you happen to live in the rich places you will never know what really happens in Surinam. This movie can not build nor break Surinam. I am to proud of my country to let that happen. Don't Judge what you don't understand. Have a blessed life and enjoy your movie! =)

Okey normally i don't even react on youtube, but this video is way misunderstood.

First of all it's called 'GHETTO's in Surinam' so if you were hoping to see Animals, Green Jungles and Palmtrees you should watch National Geopgraphic that's There job.

Second of all this video is 1. a documentary and 2. the making of a video (I'm Dead by Rass Motivated). The documentary is made to give people in the ghetto an opportunity to play in a international video and give them a chance to show their face.
