Lyrics: TORSUE - The Life of a Poor Person
Chorus:
The life of a poor person you have to keeping on surviving
Keep on surviving x 3
Boch: I'm rapping in this song but not complaining/but surviving and needing support/This is the first step for me to stand up/ because I have been selling stuff at Sa Dom Koh Market/ Everybody please listen to me I am a good guy/ Yesterday the market flooded but I was still there selling rice porridge/ Just to think about it my life is very hard/ I don't have a dollar on me so when I wake up I sell vegetable and at 4 o'clock I sell rice porridge/Don't Complain/ This is surviving

Chorus x3

Jelle: I was born into such a hard life/ Standing outside the school gates/ I wanna go to school too so bad/ But I was born poor/ In my family finances are so difficult/ We don't have money like other families/ This is the life of a poor person/ My life is like the water overflowing into the waterfalls/ My family is poor because we were born cursed/ I couldn't go to school like other kids/ I have parents but I don't have any family/ My family is the people who live on the streets because each one of us is very lonely/ At nighttime it gets very cold/ I couldn't get my diploma/ I have bad luck/ Fell into a hole/ People look at me like I'm a disgrace to society/ I fell into a hole and stayed in the hole because I was not educated/ I want to tell everybody so they know clearly about my life/ Listen to the words that I say/ Please don't look down on me/ I'm just a kid/ It doesn't matter if you are a high school or elementary school student/ Don't laugh at me because I was born poor/ Because I was born poor
Chorus x3
