At the met department, weathermen have been compiling data on Wednesday nights storm and they say it may have been the worst in recent times. Experts reported wind speeds of up to 40 metres a minute in some places. As Robert Nagila reports, the city is way too unprepared to deal with such emergencies.

i asked the same questions about the capability of our met department to spot such weather patterns. I am not bragging here but here in europe weather reports are of prime importance, for instance before i leave my house I MUST watch the weather forecast for the day and 99% of the time they are always accurate.
