Who really wants to better the lives of young people? Not politicians. Not public interest groups. Not schools. But we do! We're NYRA! We want to defend youth the ONLY way possible, by enabling them to defend themselves!

  • NYRA provides a face for youth action. Real change won't take place in boardrooms, it will take place on the streets and in the schhols and on our own personal warground, the internet

  • compulsory schooling is fundamentally wrong. there are many other options. our kids are still americans that will be effected by the elections. especially in school related votes. do the voters go to public schools? HELL NO do we need to change things? HELL YES

  • @nightvidcole So what, just because something isn't likely to happen doesn't mean there should be a law against it. There shouldn't be any laws that we don't need. If you don't want anybody 18 years old in office, you said so yourself that nobody that age would be elected anyway so why have a law against it if its never going to happen? There is no need for such a law.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters What difference would it make? No one that young would be elected even if it was legal.

  • @iamonlinew It needs to be progressive. People may not accept sudden changes, but of course you are right.

  • @BryanNC08 My mom is 52, she never took Civics courses (here ECJS, for Éducation Civique, Juridique et Sociale). Didn't exist in her time. Yet, she is as able to vote as you are. I think, somehow, they are more like propaganda.

  • @ChristianCerberus Any arguments?

  • Selfindulgent immodest rebeling brats.18 as voting will stay.

  • @RobotShoppingCenter Neither did African Americans or women at one point, that didn't stop Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, and Susan B. Anthony.

  • @RobotShoppingCenter 16 year olds are human beings who deserve just as many rights as anybody else. Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony would agree with me on this.

  • @ImDavidGurney A better solution would be to lower the office age to the voting age, another words, lower the age to be president to 18.

  • The voting should be raised to the qualifications for the office voted. If the voting age for President were 35,the long legged mack daddy would be back as a street organizer..
