  • This type of distorted, racist, and Arian-style presentation in the guise of academia was employed after WW1, and we all know what emerged after that. Oh, wait, this is comedy, right? This is classic satire. Whew, I thought this was a real, serious lecture. Hahaha, silly me. I almost took this clown seriously.

  • typical uneducated views not to mention racist ones. How is this allowed today in the 21st century?? pure BS!

  • This is truly scary. A second generation immigrant spouting off about political issues learned from his parents experience in a very mixed up part of the world. Misinformed hatred supported by an educational institute, reinforced by a Canadian Greek MP. Wow, if one every wonders how Hitler came to power by spouting off ethnic hatred then watch this video. I am appalled by this presentation in an educational institute in Canada, supported by the Greek Government. We are in the 21st century!

  • @monsieurmorin Since ancient time it was clear we're talking of two civilizations Macedonians and the City-States citizens. If history interests you very, I have a recommendation to read books from Eugene N. Borza, he's called the Macedonian specialist, most respected prof from University in Pennsylvania who all his lived is devoted to Macedonia ancient's history, he clearly talks about Macedonians being barbaric(non related to the city-states what we later call it Greece since 1829). Cheers

  • wow.

You know i never understood why my parents disliked the Greeks so much, but now i see why. Every single time they always instigate the conflict. It is so rediculous. The Greeks may hate Macedonians, but the world hates them.

  • It's all fair and well to debate history - I'm neither Macedonian nor Greek. I've read a lot of sources, both pro-Greek and pro-Macedonian and neutral soures. Sometimes it's hard to find concrete fact among a lot of nationalist rhetoric.

One thing that is for sure, however - is that no bigot can change the way people self-identify. The way Greeks and even Bulgarians be-little and insult the nationhood of a fellow European country is unacceptable. The use of the term "Skopian" is derogatory.

  • the OLD GOOD FORMULA, CENSORSHIP ON ITS ...HIGH

  • ha,ha,ha,TRUTH HURTS....lol

  • I think this young man is very misguided and his comments are oviously very hurtful. On the other hand, he is obviously someone who has been taught to hate his own (grkoman). I feel sorry for him, and hope one day he can emerge from the darkness that he lives in. The future should only involve mutual respect. We should not use violent or hateful ideas to counter violent and hateful ideas. We should respond to these attacks with solid resistance, but also Christian love and virtue.

  • Shame on the Greek Government for sponsoring these events. Maybe they should focus on the economic austerity measures in their own country and stay the hell out of Canada. Canada is a FREE country where minorities are allowed to seek self-determination and human rights are enshrined in law. This isn't Greece where the repression of minorities is the status quo.
