  • So.... Life should be fair for you because YOU earned it, but it shouldn't be fair for us because WE haven't earned it YET? Ya old bitch.

  • @VaticanIscariot Thats why old folks Ruin the country and there freaking wars

  • Well at least Ron Paul is getting the young people to wake up because the country will go bankrupt soon and no one will get anything. I like Ron Paul's idea of opting out of medicare and social security.

  • Ron Paul will phase out social security and phase out medicare.

  • old people can vote. kids cant.

  • The problem with the age demographics of the United States is that we have an aging population. I don't think the problem is the elderly, it's that they won't be replaced in the workplace. This is a problem no matter what the economic system.

  • They're going to find out just how fair life is once the government checks start to bounce and elderly care turns into mass euthanasia programs.

  • we need an opt out option. I'm 23 and there is no reason i should be paying for something that I'm not going to get. take that money and put it into my 401K or just spend it on me.

  • @JImmy4336 Although I agree that means testing medicare is a good idea I differ on social security. One is supposed to get close to what they put into it. it should be privatized, think of it this way, if i set up a 401k I will get far better returns than from SS. Better systems exist & should be used. If I pay for me & you pay for you, but we each get more than we would otherwise, everyone wins. I don't see a downside to privatization.

  • Social Security and Medicare should be means tested.
