Yoga-nidra means "yoga sleep". The mind stays fully awake while the body rests. It is a powerful relaxation technique that has been found to reduce tension and anxiety, headache, manic episodes, PTSD and many other somatic complaints. Begin lying on a bed or the floor. Cover the body with a blanket and the eyes with an eye pillow. Remain as still as possible....and listen the instructions. ENJOY! and Namaste.
