I wrote this song that began as a letter to my bio mom when I was 30 years old ( 25 years after after she put me in foster care) This my biographical song about being rejected by my mom ( dad was in prison) and how I felt as a kid growing up in the foster care system. I am grateful that I found loving foster parents that I call my mom and dad. The unfortunate fact about my mother was that she got rid of me but kept my brother and sister. This song is about feeling rejected but believing that one day as a child, I would find the love and the worth to be able fly away. This song is about is about hope. It is my hope that it inspires you to Never Give Up!
