Here is a tender rendition of BETH by KISS during their gig in Spokane last night (6/24/11). I never saw it performed this way. It was nice to almost have an "acoustic" moment with them...

This was the biggest surprise of the night. I didn't think Beth would ever be in the set again without Peter. They played it the way I always felt they should, dumping the recorded music and playing it via acoustic/electric.

@boycbronco : That's what I'm sayin'! It was the biggest surprise of the night! I still don't think that they should do the song without Peter, but then again... They do "Shock Me" without Ace, which is wrong also... The whole wearing Peter's and Ace's makeup and costumes is really wrong and it's something that I still can't get over. I've been a member of KISS Army since '75.

@kissmusiclover : I agree! I miss Peter and Ace so much! I was more excited about seeing the boys playing behind Eric, than Eric singing...

@scdesign1 I don't get offended by them doing Peter and Ace's songs ... I can see both sides of it, but it doesn't bother me, nor the wearing of the costumes. When Eric Carr joined the band, he took on the "fox" persona and makeup, but I don't know that it really caught on like the originals.  If KISS were to take off the makeup again, they'd lose half their audience. I too, have been a fan for a long time, 1976. I'm just glad they are still here, entertaining us with the best show on Earth.

@scdesign1 : I wish Tommy would come up with a solo for this song like Ace did or do the one ace did on Unplugged that would make the Eric Singer experiance with the song be better
